Wow, Time Flys By

I can't believe I have missed posting on here. Time is sure flying by! Between my son's third birthday on July 31 and my daughter's seventh birthday on August 20, I have not had much time to do anything. I am doing a Sew-Along on one of my groups and all I have been able to do is cut out the pieces. I am really hoping to get something done today and a photo taken, as I really need to get going on sewing and crocheting to start selling to make some money for Christmas.

Sorry everyone

I know I promised you pictures, but my memory card on my camera is full and I haven't been able to take any pictures. I also haven't really been around much but I do promise to get them some time this week. (I hope!)

I also have another crochet outfit to show off, actually two of them, as well as hopefully some sewing to show off. I need to make some outfits to sell, have too many bills piling up. Off to make lunch for the kids and maybe getting some sewing done today!

New Poll

Well, I am pleasantly surprised by the answers to my polls. I am really surprised by the fact that the majority went with velcro as I hear so many people talking about how much they hate the stuff. I have decided to find out which way of finished seams everyone likes. It really does help me to know this.

I will post pictures maybe tomorrow of my finished Mirabilia's Blossom Harvest which I finished a couple of weeks ago as well as my start of Noah's Sub. Not much done, but it is a start. I am also hoping to have finished the crochet dress for Rosalie that I received when I bought her.

Rosalie's Packer's Dress

Well, here she is. Rosalie in her "Packer's Dress" as hubby calls it. He wants me to make a G, put it on the middle so it will really represent the Green Bay Packers.

I don't have an AG yet, but hopefully soon. I missed out on Elizabeth on the QVC sale. Kids were acting up and by the time I got back to watching it, she was sold out. Oh well, maybe something good will be on in September or October when they have another show.

My ultimate wish is to get Elizabeth, Julie and maybe Marisol eventually.

What I am working on

Yesterday I made a dress for the AG in crochet. Just using up scraps. Hubby came home and said "Packers colors!" I hadn't realized they were the colors for the Green Bay Packers. He is a football fan! I will post a pic as soon as I take one. I am also starting a new one today. It is the Little Miss Rosalie crochet pattern from Maggie's Crochet. If you order if from Mary Maxim, (I am Canadian) you can get it in a kit with all the yarn and doll included.

As for cross stitching, my fabric and floss are all ready to start Noah's Sub. Once I actually start stitching, I will post update pics.

I will probably be adding a few polls to get some feedback for some sewing projects for the AG dolls.

My First Blog Entry

Well, I decided to start a blog. I have so many interests and goings on that I figured, why not put it all into one place. I will show off my dolls, sewing, cross stitching, plastic canvas, crocheting and anything else I feel like. So I hope everyone comes for the ride and enjoys!!
