Been busy lately...

I have been busy with a few things lately. I joined two costume swaps and finally finished them and got them out today. I will post pics as soon as the recipients receive them with my new Julie modeling them!!

I now have to get busy with getting things ready for a church bazaar that the ladies asked me to make things for for Barbie. They donated extra wool and fabric to me and asked that I make a few things for their bazaar in return, and that was no problem. Have a few things to finish up and start. I have a few things crocheted, I have to sew a few things, and my mom has knitted a couple of things. Then, maybe I can concentrate on Christmas! LOL

Yeah, she's here!!

I now have Julie!! She is gorgeous! I have been busy lately with my kids and cross stitching and that is why I did not post this on Wednesday when she arrived. I am going to be doing some sewing today as I have a sew along to finish and two or three costumes to make for swaps I am involved in. I will post the pics of 1 costume (for myself) and the sew along outfit. The pics of the other 2 costumes will have to wait until the recipients receive them and give me the okay to post them.

I just ordered my first AG doll

Yeah!! I am so thrilled! I can't wait until she gets here! I ordered the Julie special deal off of QVC! I was thinking about adding Emily, but I think I will wait until the next QVC special as I really want Ruthie and she might be on next with her holiday outfit. That gives me time to make some outfits and hopefully sell something to pay for them! :)

I'm Still Here

Hello everyone. I'm still here. My migraines have been fairly bad lately, we are just now getting our summer. Heat always increases migraines for me. I have been crocheting a nightgown set for AG size dolls and will have a pic soon.

QVC is having another AG special tomorrow, Sept 13 at 3-4 p.m. EST and if Julie is on special, hubby has stated I can get her as my birthday gift. Very early birthday gift as my birthday is not until November 1. I can't wait as she will be my first AG and the closest to my year of birth. I was born in 1975 and I have long blond hair, just not as blond as her anymore. If I get her, I will post pics. Fingers crossed. :)

Wow, Time Flys By

I can't believe I have missed posting on here. Time is sure flying by! Between my son's third birthday on July 31 and my daughter's seventh birthday on August 20, I have not had much time to do anything. I am doing a Sew-Along on one of my groups and all I have been able to do is cut out the pieces. I am really hoping to get something done today and a photo taken, as I really need to get going on sewing and crocheting to start selling to make some money for Christmas.

I know I promised you pictures, but my memory card on my camera is full and I haven't been able to take any pictures. I also haven't really been around much but I do promise to get them some time this week. (I hope!)

I also have another crochet outfit to show off, actually two of them, as well as hopefully some sewing to show off. I need to make some outfits to sell, have too many bills piling up. Off to make lunch for the kids and maybe getting some sewing done today!

New Poll

Well, I am pleasantly surprised by the answers to my polls. I am really surprised by the fact that the majority went with velcro as I hear so many people talking about how much they hate the stuff. I have decided to find out which way of finished seams everyone likes. It really does help me to know this.

I will post pictures maybe tomorrow of my finished Mirabilia's Blossom Harvest which I finished a couple of weeks ago as well as my start of Noah's Sub. Not much done, but it is a start. I am also hoping to have finished the crochet dress for Rosalie that I received when I bought her.
