So, so sorry
Hello, it's been awhile. I thought Blogger was gone, but thought to check today and here it still is! I mostly update now on my facebook page for Kizzie Creations. You can check me out there. I find it easier to update there. I've had issues with posting photos here, especially using my phone. Here is the link if you'd like to follow my doll clothes business: https://www.facebook.com/kizziecreations

Time Flies!!
Oh, my goodness, I didn't expect to be away from this for so long. I got wrapped up in my other business, and have tried to do some sewing, but alas, it didn't work out that way. I was also having issues posting to here from my old phone. I'm doing this post on my desktop. I don't have any photos today, but hopefully, I will soon.
I am still a tester for Liberty Jane, and while things are quiet with my other business, I hope to get all my tester garments embellished and added to my Etsy shop very soon. I received a big box of recycled denim that I'm hoping to do a bunch of items for the shop as well. A friend is also giving me several totes of fabric because her mom can no longer sew and she doesn't, so I will hopefully have pics of that real soon as well.
There are also several real life stuff that's been happening and taking me away from all my crafting, but that should settle down in the next couple of days. I hope everyone is doing well and I hope I'm not away from here anymore.

Things to come
Hello everyone, I hope you are all having a wonderful day/week. I just thought I would come on and give a sneak peek at what I am currently working on, and a few of the outfits that will be listed as soon as I can get some quality photos taken.
First, I have 4 hoodies in the works.
Next, I have some girls already dressed and waiting for hair and photos to be done.
And lastly, I have a few that need some models. I know, a lot of blue, but I do have several more coming up that are different colours. LOL
I'm hoping I can get the photos done today, but it is overcast, so we will see. Next up, I have a jacket to finish, a jacket to start, a flight suit with embroidered patches to finish, as well as several outfits to photograph. Should be a busy day. See you all soon!

Doll Sized Space Badges
I now have the 18" doll sized space badges in my shop. They are all custom made to order and you can choose any outer colour you would like. If you don't see a colour there that you like, please send me a message on Etsy and I can make a custom order for you. You can click the link here:https://www.etsy.com/listing/586191021/space-badges-for-18-inch-doll-space-suit?ref=shop_home_active_1 or click the box in the sidebar to take you to my shop.
I will also be adding some more paper clips to my other shop, Kizzie Clips, on Etsy as well in the next day or two for those planner people in your life!

New Year, New Things
Hello everyone, I hope you all had a wonderful Christmas and New Year's! I have opened a second Etsy shop, and I might open a third one. It all depends on me finding a balance with what's going on and how I want to proceed with everything. I have a lot to tell, so hopefully, you have a cup of coffee to sip while reading. :D
First, my new shop is called Kizzie Clips. It carries embroidered felt clips for planners or as bookmarks. Right now, they have a repositionable slider back that allows you to put the clips on the sides of books as well as the tops. I will eventually be able to add a non repositionable back, but that will have to wait until I can get a Sizzix Big Shot and die cut so that I can cover the hole in the back when adding a paper clip. I will also eventually add badge reels for the nurses and administration people for their id badges.
With all that, I was having a hard time getting in dolly sewing. That is my first love. So hubby and I decided that since we have 2 living rooms in our house, one upstairs where I work with all the natural light, and a den downstairs where he spends his relaxation time, and the fact that I am pretty much the only person using the living room, we will convert the entire thing to a sewing/embroidery studio for me. When we first moved in, there was a kitchen island that we relocated downstairs as a clothes folding table, as well as a cutting table for me. My fabrics are all around the area down there. That will be relocated again to the living room upstairs for me. We don't need it in the kitchen at all, so that's why it has been repurposed for me. The couch that is in there now, will be relocated downstairs, and the couch down there will be put out in the garage for our daughter as a hang out for her and her friends.
I also received a new doll, but need some putty for her eyes. I got a Kaye Wiggs new sized doll. She is a mini Layla with no freckles. I received her a few days after Christmas, having waited for her since April. I am currently in the process of resizing a pattern to make her a dress. I might even try my hand at pattern making.
I would also, maybe, open a third Etsy shop with other machine embroidered items. That might have to wait though. I eventually want to get a multi needle machine that I can walk away from and be able to sew while it is embroidering. I have to watch my machine right now, which takes away from sewing. Hence, the time balance issue.
I'm starting to find that balance, but it won't be fully realized until the room is entirely finished. Until then, I have several clips to finish, photograph and add to the shop, as well as several outfits that need just a little bit here and there, and then photographed and added as well. The clips are easier to take pictures of, whereas the dolls are a bit harder to get enough light to get rid of shadows. It has been very cold, overcast, and snowing lots here, so the days are not great for that, and I don't have a light tent to make things easier. I will figure something out in the mean time, and hopefully, I can get more productive with less downtime.
If you've made it this far, thank you and I hope you all have a wonderful week!

New Camera, New Photos
I ordered a new camera and now I am in the process of updating my Etsy photos as well as taking the photos for all my new finished outfits. They should be up within the next week or two. It depends on the weather, as it has been raining and overcast for several days, and the natural light is way too dark for nice photos. I hope you check back soon for more updates. :D

Merit Badges
Hello everyone! I just thought I would tell you that all the merit badges are up and live in my Etsy shop. There are 6 sets to choose from. You can just order the badges you like from all 6 sets and then check out. I had to divide them into the different sets as Etsy would not allow that many in one listing because of the amount of variables due to the allowed colours to choose from for the outer circle colour. If you just click the link on the right hand sidebar, it will take you directly to my Etsy shop! I hope everyone has a great day. :D

Coming very soon to my Etsy shop!
I am pleased to say that I will very soon, be carrying scout/guide patches for your 18" dolls! I will eventually be also carrying merit badge sashes so that you can order a sash with badges already added. But for now, you can order just the badges already made to sew on your own sash. They will be made on acrylic felt, and once I get the sashes, the background will be cotton.

Life....
Life has a way of stepping in and distracting me to the point that I get so little done, it's pathetic. I am hoping that since things have calmed down now, that I can really get back to creating and getting items up in my shop. I have several things to take pictures for and add, and items that really do need new photos for. I got 2 new batteries for my camera, and was hoping to take some sewing videos from it, but alas, the microphone is not the best, so I have to use my webcam for now for those until I can upgrade. I will be starting to film those very soon. I have to also edit and upload my AG collection video, which takes a lot of time.
I've had some health issues come up, and medical paperwork keeping me busy, as well as being a wife and mother. I have been sewing a little, and have things I need to put the finishing touches to, and then I will add them to my Etsy shop. It has been overcast and raining here lately, so taking photos in dark light just doesn't work. Now that the nicer weather is starting here, it shouldn't take long for that to get done.
I'm hoping to pick up Gabriela, Tenney and maybe Logon this year, we shall see. I also have a wonderful husband who paid for me to preorder Kaye Wiggs new 14" doll that should be here sometime around my birthday, at the end of October or early November, so that is very exciting. :D
I hope everyone is having a great week, and I will definitely be posting more often. :D

Well, that didn't work
So my camera has been on the cord charging, and the battery will no longer hold a charge. At least I can use my camera as long as it's plugged in, and I have 2 batteries on order, so that I will have an extra in case one gets low, the other will be fully charged. :D

Camera Cord
Okay, so we moved houses almost 2 years ago, and I had been using my phone to take pictures for my Etsy shop. It takes wonderful pictures, but the minute you crop them or do anything to them, they go grainy and I don't know why. So, we have been looking for any 1 of 2 cords I have for my digital camera, but could not find them. I know I've unpacked them, and seen them somewhere, but can't seem to find either one of them. So hubby told me just to buy the adapter cord so that I have at least one cord to charge up my battery. My new cord arrived today! I wasn't expecting it to come until at least next week. So once it's all charged up, I can take new photos of the outfits in my Etsy shop as well as photos of all the other outfits that I have ready to go. So expect an influx of stuff to be added soon! :D

Leopard Print for Wellie Wishers
I tried to post this from my phone, but unfortunately, it won't post, so I can't show you the fabric I'm using. I am working on a little something for the Wellie Wishers dolls, but as it is in testing, I can't say what, but it will be cute. Hopefully, when it's finished, I will be able to post a photo. I hope everyone has a great week. :D

Happy New Year!!
I am trying to find the cord to my camera to take better photos of the outfits I have lined up to put in my Etsy store, as when I crop my photos that I take with my phone go all grainy, but I haven't been able to find it since moving to this new house.
I just wanted to wish everyone a safe and Happy New Year!!!

A Delay With Videos
I am sorry to say there is going to be a delay with my AG collection video and my currently available on Etsy video that I had planned. My son was sick all last week and now I am sick this week, so there will be a bit of a wait until I can edit and upload the videos. Please bear with me. Thank you for your patience. :)

Videos and Birthday Gifts
Sorry it's been a bit since I posted last. I hope everyone had a great Halloween. My birthday was November 1, and my hubby was so great to give me a new chair for my sewing machine and a new iron. The chair I usually use is big and bulky and I wanted just a stool, but he got me one with a back so that I won't strain my back, but it has no arms to get in my way. The iron I use was just a quick, cheap one, but it is very light and I wanted a heavier one. The one that I wanted was sold out, so he made sure that the one he did purchase was a heavier one. It is a digital Sunbeam iron. I haven't tried either one out yet as my back has been an absolute beast, but I hope to in the next day or so.
I did a bit of filming today. I have finally started to film my doll collection. Today, I did my AG collection. I filmed all the dolls with their accessories that I have for each one. I did them in categories, mini's, Wellie Wisher, historical, Truly Me, and Girl of the Year. With a bonus of my daughter's dolls, as I use them for models as well. We do not own the same dolls, so no repeats.
I will eventually do Tonner, Silkstone, Barbie, Fashion Royalty, and BJD collection videos. They will all have separate videos. It will take me a few days to edit and upload so please stay tuned. I will post it here as well. I hope everyone is having a great fall day!!

Sewing and Sick
Hello everyone. I have finished 3 Halloween dresses for 2 different sized dolls, just need to make accessories for them. I have one left to finish, but I missed cutting out a piece and now I can't find the fabric. :S
I woke up this morning really sick, so I'm hoping that I will be better in the next couple of days. I will hopefully get the dresses posted on Etsy within the next couple of days. I also have another dress to post, but I need to find a pattern for gloves to add to it.
It was our Thanksgiving on the weekend and I made dinner for my mother on Sunday, and then we went to my mother-in-laws house on Monday for her Thanksgiving dinner. Both were great! I hope everyone in Canada had a great Thanksgiving!

Halloween Dresses On The Way
I have 3 dresses cut out for 2 sized dolls. 2 are for AG and 1 is for LD. Some of the embellishments I might use can be seen. I have a couple of other outfits almost ready to go and a few that have to be redone. Pictures are needed but it has been thunder showers here for a couple of days, so when they clear up I will get them up on Etsy.

Lea Clarke and Camille
I finally made it to an American Girl store!! My hubby and I had a planned trip to Toronto for a concert and we made a scheduled stop at Chapters and American Girl in the Eaton Center in downtown Toronto. I did not take any photos as we were with other people and so, I just looked at a few things, and then picked up Lea and Camille. Here is the unboxing, enjoy!!
