So sorry for being MIA

I know, it's been way too long for an update. I sorta crashed in the energy department. I didn't do any sewing except for the swaps on the boards and then I just had a bout of depression because of my back injuries. I did get a little done for my daughter's doll for Christmas and have gotten back into it a bit. Now, I just have to get a few things made up so that I can open my Etsy store. I will post the sewing swap stuff that I made and received. A little late, but better than never. The first two are the costumes I made for the Halloween swaps.

The next two are what I received. I love them both to bits!

It's Halloween Swap Time

My favorite time of the year. Halloween Costume Swap! I sent out my swap item 2 days ago for the AG Playthings Swap and once the new owner receives it, I will post a picture. I am also part of the swap on the AG Dollhouse board. I have some more time to get that one ready and then I will post photos once that person receives it too.

She's Done!!

Wow, 3 posts in one day! I'm on a roll! LOL While I haven't been posting blog entries for a bit, I have been keeping busy. I did do a few other things than what I am posting about today, but I will post those later. I finally finished Fairy Roses by Mirabilia. She took longer than expected. It is hard to sit and cross stitch for hours at a time now with my back injury. And with my stomach issues as well. But I am so happy that she is done.

I Know I've Been Away

Sorry to be MIA lately. My kids have been off for summer and still have health issues, but they are getting better. We now know whatever is going on, it is my stomach. I have been put on Nexium and it seems to be working. Aside from the nasty side effects the first week I was on it, things have calmed down.

I have also been diagnosed with sleep apnea. It should have been diagnosed about 16 years ago, but now I have to get an A-PAP machine. They are more expensive then the C-PAP and I don't need a continuous flow of air, but different pressures of air for different parts of sleep. Now, maybe I might have a little more energy during the day to exercise and get some of my weight off. Haven't really been doing any exercising as I am too exhausted, which has been part of my nasty cycle of being tired, so I eat to get energy, but it doesn't work, so I eat some more, than gain weight and the cycle continues. My chiropractor (who is so good, he should have been an MD) says that once I get my machine, I will notice a difference and my energy will return so that I can do something about my weight.

My daughter's 9th birthday was on the 20th of August and she wanted an AG of her very own. We got her one, and hubby allowed me to get one too!! What a keeper. I have been wanting a #26 for a while now. I named her Esther Orchid.

I will be participating in any and all of the Halloween swaps if there are any. They are my favorite ones to join. I love the colors of Halloween and it doesn't hurt that my birthday is November 1!

Blah

I haven't been around lately, I know. I have been having issues with having a tooth pulled. The dentist attempted to remove it and the freezing didn't take, so I had to go back a week later and be knocked out for them to remove it. Now, I have the flu, so I have not been able to get much of anything done.

I did start on crocheting a Bugs Bunny stuffed animal for my daughter. I am still cross stitching Fairy Roses and will post pictures soon.

Today is my 12th wedding anniversary. We will be celebrating next week as I am still sick and we are low on funds.

Bad Tooth

Well,I have had major problems with my back molar. Not wisdom teeth, as I will never get them. On Thursday, went to a dental surgeon, as my dentist thought it would be better to see him as my roots are crooked, and he tried to pull it out without success. He froze it, cut the gums and drilled a bit, and I felt the whole thing. Now, I have a swollen face, can't chew, and have to wait until next Thursday, so he can sedate me and pull it. The only upside to this is, since I can't eat much, I will lose some weight! I will let you all know what happens.
